I was born and grew up outside of Lund, Sweden, but I've lived in the US for the past twenty years. I translated Remainland: Selected Poems of Aase Berg, published by Action Books last year. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Georgia, but I teach at Notre Dame.

Joyelle McSweeney

Joyelle McSweeney is the author of The Red Bird and The Commandrine and Other Poem, both from Fence. A co-founder of Action Books, she writes regular reviews for The Constant Critic and will be joining the MFA faculty at Notre Dame this fall. Her play, Pierrot Le Feu, An Epithalamium, may be read at How2 very soon, and her chapbook, The Aenied (Book I, Lns 1-440) is forthcoming from Burning Chair Books this summer.
